Position overview

Peak Beverage is a full-service beverage catering and concessions company serving events across 9 states. Our services span weddings, corporate events, festivals, venues, and brand activations.

We are hiring a Strategic Partnership Manager to build Peak's venue partner base in Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding areas. This is a quota-carrying, venue-only role. You will win exclusive and preferred beverage partnerships with wedding venues, event centers, ranches, and hospitality groups that own event space.

You will not sell festivals, agencies, DMCs, or one-off corporate events. Those route to other Business Development seats. Your job is to sign venues, launch them well, and grow the event revenue that flows through each one. The seat starts with a clean book. No existing venues transfer to it.

Austin and San Antonio are among Peak's most important growth markets. The person in this seat will shape how Peak shows up with venue owners across the Hill Country.

Key responsibilities

Venue new business

Own and deliver against an Austin and San Antonio venue revenue target.

Build and work a named target list of wedding venues, event centers, ranches, and multi-venue hospitality groups. Target venues host an average of 80 to 120 events per year.

Generate qualified venue opportunities through outbound prospecting, planner and vendor referrals, venue walkthroughs, and industry events.

Run the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery with the venue owner and GM, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.

Structure exclusive, preferred, and white-label in-house bar agreements that meet Peak's margin standards and approval tiers.

Position Peak against local beverage competitors and venue-run bar programs.

Partner launch and growth

Own each new venue partner from signed contract through a self-sustaining partnership, using Peak's venue onboarding workflow.

Build venue bar packages, pricing, and co-branded collateral with Marketing.

Hold partner check-ins weekly in month one, bi-weekly in month two, and monthly after that.

Hand day-to-day client and event execution to CSMs and Operations with a clean, documented handoff.

Grow the venue partners you sign through higher event capture, package upgrades, added properties, and renewals.

Commercial discipline

Keep pipeline, stages, activity, and forecasts current in HubSpot.

Report weekly on the scorecard and come to forecast conversations prepared and candid.

Share Austin and San Antonio market intel on competitors, venue pricing, openings, and ownership changes.

Represent Peak at tastings, venue walkthroughs, wedding industry events, and partner meetings.

Who will thrive in this role

The right person is a hunter who likes the long game with venue owners. You create momentum without waiting for perfect conditions, and you care what happens after the contract is signed.

Prospects every week and does not depend on inbound demand.

Earns trust with venue owners, GMs, and coordinators while keeping commercial urgency.

Runs sharp discovery: decision-makers, current bar setup, event volume, and timing.

Understands how venue economics work, including event capture, per-head pricing, and margin.

Uses HubSpot daily and forecasts honestly.

Thinks like an owner and weighs revenue against margin and partner experience.
